“Let’s Reason Together” ( Isaiah 1: 18, ESV ) by Carley Evans

“Come now, let us reason together, says the LORD: though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they are red like crimson, they shall become like wool.”

God isn’t giving us an excuse to sin. Rather, He’s giving us His promise to make our sins as if they never were.

“For as high as the heavens are above the earth, so great is His love for those who fear Him; as far as the east is from the west, so far has He removed our transgressions from us. As a father has compassion on his children, so the Lord has compassion on those who fear Him; for He knows how we are formed, He remembers that we are dust.” (Psalm 103:12-14, NIV)

“Praise the Lord, O my soul; all my inmost being, praise His holy Name. Praise the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all His benefits — He forgives all your sins and heals all your diseases, who redeems your life from the pit and crowns you with love and compassion, who satisfies your desires with good things so that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s.” (Psalm 103:1-5, NIV)

And because God makes our sins as if they never were, when we throw them back up to Him — in His face so to speak–; it is offensive. God bless!

Hi Carley, I like your new look, a very pretty pink offset by the white, it looks good.

Yes it is wonderful that when we come to heart repentance all our past sins are forgiven and we are cleansed and also set free from the bondage of sin that makes us a slave to it.

Romans 3:24-26 Being justified freely by His grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus: Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in His blood, to declare His righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God.

Romans 6:20 – 23 For when ye were the servants of sin, ye were free from righteousness. What fruit had ye then in those things where of ye are now ashamed? for the end of those things is death. But now being made free from sin, and become servants to God, ye have your fruit unto Holiness, and the end everlasting life. For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Yes it is wonderful to be set free and to be able to walk in Love and righteousness and have good fruit but not of ourselves but by the empowering of The Holy Spirit.

Yes so True Carley God’s mercy and Grace is wonderful but we also must walk in righteousness when we do it shows it has been imputed to us otherwise it is just words.

1John 3:4-10 Everyone who sins breaks the law; in fact, sin is lawlessness. But you know that He appeared so that He might take away our sins. And in Him is no sin. No one who lives in Him keeps on sinning. No one who continues to sin has either seen Him or known Him. Dear children, do not let anyone lead you astray. He who does what is right is righteous, just as He is righteous.

I keep being disconnected from people who I sign up with Carley and am not always getting responses yes other peoples but not mine, anyway if you think I’m gone I’m still here.
